School's In: How to Support a Mindful Transition Back

Something we all face in the fall is the adjustment “back to school.” There are preparations involved, mindset shifts to be made, and new social and performance expectations awaiting us.

Of course this year's return will be compounded by the realities/restrictions of Covid-19. It wasn’t clear that kids were even going back, nor in what capacity. Uncertainty and newness remain part of this pandemic journey and naturally, concerns are raised about how we navigate them as we head back to the classroom (in person or otherwise!).

Join this conversation to better understand and normalize apprehensions you or your children may be experiencing. Pick up some practical tools for re-entry. Also, remind yourself of some mindfulness strategies for growing your awareness, patience and resilience around transitions - and this one in particular.
